The Porteño´s Labyrinths

One of the latest and creative ways to know the city is “El cantor de tango. When a student asks me for a good book which describes the town and its characters, I recommend this.

In my opinion it is fascinating read about places and being in it at the same time. And this is what happens when Bruno, the main character of the story, takes a coffee en El Británico, or gets lost in this labyrinth of streets and passages that Buenos Aires means also to the porteños.

Another good reason to read “EL cantor de tango” is that its author ,Tomás Eloy Martínez, is one of the Argentineans well-known and respectful writer of this century.

Enjoy the trip!!
